The runners are hired by an unhappy looking middle-aged Asian Mr. Johnson, who sends them to destroy research pertaining to a secret project of Sutter Biotech, a UCAS biotechnology firm. It turns out that the secret project was a method to make palatable foodstuffs for ghouls. Unfortunately, this research involved using live Krieger Strain HMHVV virii in the production process. The runners allow the researchers and the research to "escape", with a fake death and destruction of the project. The Johnson helps the runners cover up the duplicity, as it turns out that the Johnson did not want to order this particular run in the first place.
