Major General Lucian Aurelius Devaneaux II (Ret.), Reydovan Imperial Marine Corps, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Federation of Planets (born January 10, 2308, Castle Devaneaux, Reydovan Prime) is a fictional character created by Joshua Underwood in the Star Trek universe. Lucian II is the eldest son of Lucian the elder and thus is the elder brother of the treacherous Artimus Devaneaux. He was been portrayed by Scottish actor Kenneth Cranham (best known for his portrayal of Gnaeus Pompey Magnus on the HBO series Rome) since his creation in 2007.

Early Life[]

Born in Castle Devaneaux on Reydovan Prime, Lucian II proved to be the intellectually dominant of the elder Lucian's three sons. In 2332, he applied to the Imperial Military Academy; his first instructor was a young Marine captain named Jeremiah Neill. He graduated in 2335.
