A powerful No Moon Lunar sorcerer and necromancer, he revealed himself to be the Lunar mate of Dax. He is a slender figure with white hair and a considerable wit. His spirit shape is that of a great spider. He has kept a fairly low profile in the Second Age and through the Shogunate, as he exalted shortly after the Usurpation in the village of Seylinthia. He was eager to rally to Leviathan's cause and has been a considerable boon to the party since.
He was quietly distrustful of Dax at first, having misjudged his former incarnation Shadow's Grace during the Usurpation. Thanks to Dax's visions and the information recovered from various tombs and treasure troves, Serentatis has apologized for his distrust and hopes to make it up to Dax in the future.
Serentatis has an Essence rating of 5. He is one of the most potent No Moon sorcerers, and probably the greatest Lunar necromancer alive. He is the party's only source of necromantic ability and is considerably adept at it. However, in combat, he does not rely solely on these abilities, preferring to rapidly shift between forms and showing immense nimble acrobatic skill. He operates a large island on the border of the Wyld, filled with towns, but has not yet revealed this to the party.
